Wegbeschreibung

Our hike begins at the edge of the village (towards Brandstraße) in Hohnstein . We first follow the road (blue line) in the direction of Brand. At the beginning of the forest, the road turns into Brandstraße , a wide forest road. Straight ahead (blue line) we hike into the "Brand", as the area is called here: In the 18th century, the forest here was devastatingly in flames. Underneath the spreading treetops, the trail leads to the Brandaussicht . In good weather, a fantastic view opens up from here to the table…

Parken

Parking is available at the roadside or at the car park of the former railway station in Hohnstein.

ÖPNV

With S1 to Pirna, from here with bus 237 (direction Sebnitz) to "Markt, Hohnstein" or "Eiche, Hohnstein". The starting point of the tour is approx. 1.5 km to the south.
