Deeply incised valleys run through the sandstone of the Upper Saxon Switzerland. There is an almost mystical atmosphere and a cool cellar climate in them. It is a world of its own into which we are allowed to immerse ourselves on this hike; in seclusion and a little disconnected from reality.
