A particularly idyllic hiking trail in the surroundings of the former mining town of Berggießhübel is the Forellensteig. As a leisurely path, it leads between Ladenberg (338 meters) and Schlepphübel (314 meters) always along the murmuring and rippling Gottleuba. Between moss-covered boulders the stream winds through the valley and sometimes it shoots as a small waterfall over the mighty sandstone boulders.
