From the spa town of Gohrisch, the Muselweg, the Jagdsteig, the Königsweg and the Alte Schulweg lead you to Pfaffendorf. You climb through the narrow eye of a needle, a steep ascent over wooden and iron stairs, the Pfaffenstein. Via the Klammweg you hike down towards Quirl. At the sports field Pfaffendorf the Malerweg leads you to Königstein. You pass the town church and walk along the Latzweg to the foot of the Königstein Fortress.
