De wandeling begint in Pirna-Liebethal bij de ingang van de romantische Liebethaler Grund. Volg de Wesenitz naar de Daubemühle molen, langs het monumentale Richard Wagner monument (gemaakt door Richard Guhr, 1933) en de overblijfselen van de voormalige Lochmühle molen. U steekt de Wesenitz over en komt in Mühlsdorf. Over de Alte Lohmstraße, later langs de bosrand, wandelt u naar de coördinatensteen 51° N 14° E. Via de Querweg, de Brückwaldweg en de Schleifgrund bereikt u de Uttewalder Grund met de beroemde…
